Overview
The VP, Deposits and Payments Process Manager is responsible for the delivery of process improvement initiatives across Banking Operations, Treasury Operations and Credit Card Operations. This position will report to the SVP, Deposits and Payments Process Improvement Manager.
Responsibilities

  • Effectively plan and implement process changes across the Deposit and Payments Operations groups.
  • Develop business cases for each project, which include potential risks, metrics and the impact to both internal and external customers as applicable.
  • Create management level reporting to document the progress of approved projects.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders regarding recommendations and decisions on optimization projects.
  • Through the use of employee interviews and requirements workshops, map current and future state process flows.
  • Collaborate with business partners to measure the effectiveness of existing business processes and identify operational efficiencies, which are sustainable and repeatable.
  • Identify process improvement activities, which could be optimized through automation.
  • Leverage process improvement best practices to improve operational and customer and employee satisfaction across supported business lines.
  • Assist in developing a culture of continuous process improvements.
  • Involved with interviewing and hiring decisions.
  • Prepare and deliver employee performance evaluations, goal planning, and counseling.
  • Manage, support, coach and train staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years banking experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Project Management/ Process Improvement/ Automation role
  • Creative and strategic thinker with excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent time management and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently yet collaborate cross-functionally in a team environment
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Ability to interpret complex business needs and translate them into operational requirements
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple projects and objectives in rapidly changing environment
  • Must possess high degree of professionalism in working with others

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of FIS IBS Suite of Applications

Physical Requirements:

  • Role requires sitting or standing in front of a computer monitor for prolonged periods of time in a fixed neck position.
  • Constant use of a computer or other office equipment resulting in repeating motions of the hands and wrists.
  • Light work that may include moving objects up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to travel as required within the applicable footprint for those business units supported by this particular role (Southern California and North Carolina).

Rewards

National Base Pay Range (annual): $74,984.00 to $146,205.28

Final salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with geographic/market data.
