The Copywriter conceptualizes, develops and writes compelling copy that promotes and supports Cedars-Sinai???s consumer and business-facing initiatives. Familiar with persuasive web and marketing writing as well as editorial and journalistic storytelling. Ability to synthesize medical and scientific information to produce written materials including website copy, blog stories and short- and long-form newsletter articles for diverse external audiences. Collaborates and works cross-functionally with internal partners in Marketing and Communications and Web Strategy as well as with external partners throughout Cedars-Sinai. Works closely with other members of the team to support priorities, workflows and shared responsibilities to deliver a wide range of assets: Ideate, research, pitch, develop and write content for patients, physicians and researchers that drive patient acquisition, staff recruitment, and continually improve the reputation of Cedars-Sinai. Work effectively with art directors and designers to deliver strong, idea-driven work. Translate complex biomedical concepts into compelling, human stories. Craft engaging, well-researched copy that moves and informs. Produce high-value assets in support of departmental and organizational strategic priorities and goals; ensure all content is compliant with Cedars-Sinai brand and copy standards.?? Establish and maintain positive, effective relationships with team members, Marketing and Communications colleagues and partners, and Web Strategy colleagues and collaborators. Interact with physicians, patients and others in a professional and responsive manner, protecting patient privacy at all times. Wide range of work that reflects a wealth of industries and experience. Familiar with content strategy; able to collaborate with strategists and leverage strategic plans.
