As a Security Officer – Building Patrol Specialist in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Day Time Wed 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM Thur 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the commercial real estate location in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe and report any irregularities.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas of the location to help to deter unauthorized access and to report any suspicious behavior or hazards.
  • Communicate with property management, tenants, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and incidents as directed.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, observations, and incidents as required by site procedures.
  • Adhere to all site-specific guidelines and protocols to support a secure and welcoming environment for all occupants and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
