As Factory Manager, you will lead all aspects of our factory operations — from assembly, integration and testing to packaging and shipping of server racks. You’ll drive operational excellence, ensure safety, guide our team, and work cross-functionally with planning, engineering, supply chain and quality teams to meet customer demands and maintain top performance. You’ll champion continuous improvement efforts using methodologies such as lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
Key Responsibilities
Provide operational leadership and oversight of factory operations including assembly, integration, testing, packaging, shipping.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives (lean, Six Sigma, process optimization) to reduce waste, improve cycle times and elevate product quality.
Manage, train and mentor department managers, supervisors and factory personnel; build a safe, inclusive and high-performing work environment.
Collaborate with planning, engineering and supply chain teams to ensure production planning, throughput optimization and on-time delivery of integrated server racks per customer specs.
Implement and maintain robust quality assurance systems; enforce compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Oversee facility layout, equipment maintenance and capital improvement projects to ensure facility readiness and operational reliability.
Enforce health, safety and regulatory compliance (OSHA, ESD, local/state/federal laws).
Monitor key metrics and prepare reports on production, quality, safety, efficiency and cost; propose and execute initiatives for improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
10+ years of leadership experience in electronics manufacturing, hardware integration or a closely related field.
Strong understanding of server, networking and data-center hardware operations.
Proven track record managing factory operations in a high-mix, high-volume environment.
Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, production planning tools and using manufacturing metrics for decision-making.
Preferred Experience
Experience working with hyperscale, OEM or enterprise-level IT hardware deployment.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
Prior background in rack-level integration, burn-in testing, logistics coordination and team management across cross-functional areas.
