Nursing Faculty Positions The Department of Nursing is seeking full time instructors/assistant professors for its Baccalaureate Programs to teach throughout the nursing programs. These positions include teaching (didactic and clinical courses), advisement responsibilities, and participation in department and university governance. We are seeking faculty in the following areas Medical-Surgical, Pediatrics, Childbearing, Mental Health, Community/Public Health and Gerontology. Position Annual Hiring Salary: $84,000 Hiring salary can be above the posted pay range if candidate’s qualifications are determined to be above the minimum requirements of the position description. Job Requirements: 1. A master’s degree in nursing from a regionally accredited college or university. 2. An earned doctoral degree from a regionally accredited college or university preferred. 3. A clear and current California Registered Nurse license. 4. One-year of full-time experience in client care within the past 5 years. 5. One year of clinical teaching experience is preferred. 6. Commitment to the university mission and the philosophy of the nursing department. 7. A proven track record of excellent teamwork, organization and leadership skills.
