Pediatric Cardiology – Noninvasive Cardiologist University of California Los Angeles Requisition Number: JPF09145 UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital and the Department of Pediatrics, at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, seek a junior or mid-level noninvasive faculty member to join the Department of Pediatrics’ Division of Cardiology, in the Health Sciences Clinical Track. Applicants must have either advanced training or work experience in noninvasive cardiac imaging following categorical fellowship. Applicants must be board certified in Pediatrics and board certified/eligible in Pediatric Cardiology. Rank will be commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will join a vibrant group of pediatric cardiologists, including specialists in advanced imaging, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, heart failure and transplant, fetal/perinatal cardiology, and adult congenital heart disease. The Division of Pediatric Cardiology works closely with our world-class congenital cardiac surgical team. Duties include participating as a dedicated member of the division’s noninvasive imaging faculty, with hands-on expertise in transthoracic, transesophageal and/or fetal echocardiography, interpretative expertise with cardiac CT/MRI, teaching of fellows/residents/medical students, preparation and moderation of internal surgical conferences, and participation in clinical research and/or other scholarly endeavors that will lead to academic promotion. We expect successful applicants to participate in rounding as the in-patient cardiology attending, as well as see patients in our outpatient clinic(s). The base salary range for this position is $104,800 – $468,530.
