Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Department of Regulatory and Quality Sciences invites applications for a full-time staff member with the title, Program Specialist, Outreach and Recruitment , who is strongly committed to excellence in supporting student affairs, with a focus on recruitment and strategic program marketing to meet the programs objectives. Reporting to the Program Manager of Admissions and Professional Development, the Program Specialist, Outreach and Recruitment will work closely with all key stakeholders, including faculty and staff, graduate, professional, and undergraduate students, potential and current applicants, alumni, and internal/external collaborators, to coordinate and support all projects, activities, and events needed to advance the program’s objectives. Specific tasks include: Outreach and Recruitment Coordinates, plans, develops, recommends, and implements policies and procedures related to outreach activities. Makes presentations to students, employers, industry organizations, and alumni groups Develops partnerships and schedules routine visits to stakeholders. Hosts campus tours, special events, graduate previews, and programs for individuals and organizations to encourage prospects and applicants to apply to and enroll in the program. Coordinates outreach and recruitment efforts with other departments, schools, and programs; prioritizes, coordinates, and oversees outreach program activities to meet timelines Coordinates developing and selecting marketing and promotional materials, including flyers, brochures, posters, and multi-media presentations; interfaces with other groups on marketing strategies. Meets regularly with faculty members, program directors, and staff to understand the competitive landscape, target audience, and market demands. Develops marketing plans and implements recruitment campaigns; optimizes customer relationship management (CRM) platform use. Serves as the primary point of contact for prospective student inquiries. Maintains a current database of professional contacts, current students, and alumni. Provides regular reports on campaign outcomes and adjusts marketing strategy accordingly. Works with international offices globally to optimize recruitment efforts. Plans and implements alumni engagement events Data/Reports: Reviews data from specific feeder schools, applicant yield rates, student demographics, and student enrollment patterns to help develop non-traditional recruitment and marketing strategies to reach special populations Analyzes data to determine marketing effectiveness and impact on applicant and enrollment objectives for targeted populations. Develops and utilizes inquiry and application funnel reports. Compile and analyze statistical data for routine, periodic, and ad hoc reports and outreach. Prepares regular recruitment activity reports, statistical analyses, and enrollment projections. Website/Marketing/Communications: Develops and maintains digital marketing initiatives, data collection, email drip campaigns, and recruitment communication plans. Manages communication materials on the department website and social media platforms to ensure relevant, timely, and accurate information. Develops online alumni engagement strategies and activities. Additional: Coordinate events, including commencement, for the Department Create,update,and maintain accurate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the position Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience in communications role(s) that support recruitment, enrollment management, and/or admissions activities. Ability to travel to attend events, meetings, and academic/professional conferences as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Expertise in Inbound marketing and CRM techniques. Analytical skills to create targeted recruitment campaigns. Demonstrated knowledge of computers and job-related software. Experience in academic program administration Demonstrated knowledge and experience with project management Highly developed and demonstrated internal and external customer service experience Demonstrated ability to build and develop relationships across the spectrum of internal and external stakeholders Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication skills, organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, leadership skills, and computer skills The hourly rate range for this position is $30.27 – $34.31.
