The UCI-led All of Us Southern California Consortium (AoUSCC) focusing on precision medicine research is seeking to employ a Consortium Program Manager. Under the direction of the AoUSCC Principal Investigator, the Consortium Program Manager incumbent will oversee the development, implementation, and engagement, recruitment, and retention progress of the All of Us Southern California Consortium for the NIH funded All of Us Research Program, which includes but is not limited to the following activities: management and administration of operations including program planning, IRB, reporting to NIH, finance, human resources, IT, facilities, data entry and data management, coordination of activities and working directly with the Principal Investigator to coordinate and manage teams’ activities from several All of Us Research Program member institutions in Southern California to ensure deadlines and engagement, recruitment, and retention target metrics are met.The AoUSCC led by UCI is a part of the larger research structure for the All of Us Research Program and the Genetic Epidemiology Research Institute (GERI) efforts including UCI faculty and researchers in furthering the science of precision medicine using the All of Us data. The Consortium Program Manager will have as one of their primary responsibilities to ensure that the research structure with GERI and expanded to other institutions in the catchment area of the AoUSCC to continue to produce research in precision medicine. Ability to perform all commonly applicable functions in word processing and spreadsheet software. Effectively uses campus’ clinical information and documentation application programs. Proven ability utilizing clinical trial management systems. Skills to work collaboratively with other cross-functional teams. Ability to interface and collaborate with other members of an extended study team. Ability to influence / persuade. Proven ability to effectively coordinate and integrate programs with others in division, department, and organization. Skill in working independently, taking initiative and following through on assignments. Ability to think critically, compile data from various sources, analyze data, and prepare reports. High level of integrity and honesty in maintaining confidentiality. Strong attention to detail. Required: Bachelor’s degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training Clinical Trial Professional certification from a professional society within one year in position. A minimum of 5 years of experience Experience implementing protocols, manage work schedules, and assign tasks. Experience maintaining staff productivity and tracking of study participants. Experience in training and quality control. Preferred: Advanced degree preferred.
