Well-known education institution is looking to hire (10) Bilingual Spanish Administrative Assistant’s/Office Coordinator’s to work in a dynamic team environment and support various departments on campus for grades 7-12.

**Previous experience working in education in an office administration capacity at the elementary, middle school, high school or college level is a huge plus**
**Previous experience working in Human Resources, Admissions, Registrar, Financial Aid, Student Life, Facilities, Academics, Research, etc. is a plus.

HEALTH/BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIREMENTS:
**Worker pays out of pocket cost for both TB and Live Scan tests & will be reimbursed back 100% of cost with receipt**

  • Must be fully vaccinated and provide proof (NO BOOSTER NEEDED)
  • Must submit to DOJ Fingerprint Live Scan background check once hired
  • Must have a TB Test administered and receive a negative result to start job once hired

JOB DUTIES:

  • May provide translation verbally and written in a second language as needed
  • Answer phones, take messages, and transfer calls
  • Respond to emails from parents, faculty, and staff
  • Assist in the residency verification and determination of student’s applicants
  • Verify, evaluate, and process applications for admissions
  • Verify education completion including graduation
  • Calculate and check accuracy for students’ credits
  • Maintain confidentiality of student records

Creates purchase orders and enters receivables into district accounting program

  • Complete end of year duties including assisting with inventory, student account transfers and refunds, file and storage organization •Request or provide information and records to assure completeness and accuracy of admissions process and maintenance of student records
  • Answers questions and provides information and assistance regarding meal programs
  • Prepare and distribute informational packets
  • Perform data entry
  • Receive, sort and distribute mail
  • Coordinates mailings and copying
  • File, fax, scan, photocopy and email documents

EDUCAITON REQUIREMNTS:

  • Associate or Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university

COMPUTER SKILLS REQUIRED:
•Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
•Experience with Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google forms

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
•Ability to speak, write, and listen effectively, organize thoughts logically, and explain concepts using patience and courtesy
•Ability to read, understand, and apply fiscal procedures, and policies
•Ability to work independently and part of a team with minimal supervision
•Ability to think creatively, critically, and to problem solve
•Ability to take initiative, use good judgment, tact, patience, and confidentiality, and master challenges
