Kelly® is looking for a CNC Swiss Machinist to work at a premier Fortune 500 American manufacturer of industrial tools and household hardware, and a provider of security products in Fullerton, CA. Starting pay: $26.88-$33.60 (Negotiable Based on experience) 

Shift: 2nd (Start at 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays)

  • Must be able to work daily overtime and Saturdays as needed.

What’s a typical day as CNC Swiss Operator? You’ll be:

  • Operating and maintaining Swiss CNC machines
  • Manufacture products in accordance with engineering drawings.
  • Ensuring the quality of products through meticulous inspection and adjustments
  • Collaborating with the team to optimize production processes and workflow
  • Operating CNC Swiss Machine to produce metal components such as tubes or panels used for Aerospace equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years or more of operation experience with Swiss CNC 
  • Familiarity with Okuma, Takisawa, Doosan, or Mori Seiki machines, specifically with Fanuc controls.
  • Ability to set up a CNC machine, including work holding, kitting of tools, touching off tools and establishing offsets, reading manufacturing drawings, and performing first article buy-off on FANUC or OSP Okuma controls
  • Ability to read Blueprints
  • Have a strong commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and safety protocols
  • Utilizing a wide variety of precision measuring instruments such as Micrometers, Calipers, and Comparators
