Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving significant sales growth through advanced customer engagement strategies, leading complex sales processes, and mentoring junior sales staff. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strategic mindset to excel in this position.
Responsibilities:
– Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
– Leverage these relationships to acquire new opportunities and expand into additional areas where value can be added.
– Serve as the primary point of contact for accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
– Develop and utilize high-level sales presentations for key decision-makers as needed.
– Lead complex sales negotiations and successfully close high-value deals.
– Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
– Ensure prompt follow-up on all sales proposals sent to customers, addressing questions to secure orders.
– Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics using Salesforce software.
– Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the Director of Business Development based on market trends and customer feedback.
– Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted sales campaigns.
– Mentor and train sales staff, sharing best practices and providing guidance on effective sales practices.
– Maintain a strong understanding of the company’s product offerings and industry trends.
Qualifications:
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in inside sales, preferably in a mid-sized custom manufacturing business or related industry.
– Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, particularly in a senior or strategic role.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Excellent negotiation and closing abilities.
– Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
