Job Description
As a Production Manager/Scheduler, you will be responsible for overseeing our manufacturing processes and coordinating production schedules. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to optimize resources to meet production targets efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for accurate centralized scheduling for installers
- Maintains staffing of employees to meet builder schedules
- Participate in local home builder associations to promote out company and develop builder relationships
- Provide coaching, feedback, and ongoing technical and communication training to all subordinates to increase performance.
- Effectively manage conflict resolution with clients through clear communication, addressing all concerns, questions, or problems expediently.
- Ensure compliance of OSHA and Company Safety policies and programs
- Build relationships with builders and meet with them on a quarterly basis.
- Responsible for the completion of each install completed by deadline.
- Communicates with branch manager, sales team to address any work order issues and provide progress reports per each job order
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED with 5 years of experience in Construction / Project Management
- Associate’s degree in construction management or equivalent experience preferred
- 3-5 years of management experience
- Hands on experience in residential construction, and knowledge of insulation field
- Proficient in Microsoft word products including word, excel and outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to problem solve and able to make decisions
- Excellent organizational skills and be able to multi-task
- Able to meet deadlines in a timely manner
