NYU Silver School of Social Work JOB OPPORTUNITY: RESEARCH Coordinator on a 5-year longitudinal study Location: Los Angeles, CA (the position requires the individual to be based in Los Angeles) Commitment: FULL-TIME Date of posting: October 11, 2024 Salary range: $70,000 – $85,000 annually Project title: A longitudinal examination of factors predicting the social networks and mental health services of Black and Latinx Individuals with serious mental illnesses (Co-Principal Investigators: Rohini Pahwa, PhD and Erin Kelly, PhD). Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate a 5-year longitudinal research study Implement recruitment plans Screen participants for eligibility Obtain participant consent and schedule assessments Oversee participant compensation, reconcile petty cash and participant compensation logs Refine and implement tracking protocols to maintain high follow-up and retention rates Conduct assessments with participants as needed Perform other related activities as required Required Education, Experience, and Skills Master?s degree or higher in social work, public health, psychology, nursing, or other social/behavioral science disciplines Experience with research and participant tracking Excellent organizational skills Willing to travel within Los Angeles for project activities Must have a high level of attention to detail, flexibility, ability to work on a team, and punctuality Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills Bilingual in English and Spanish Familiarity with institutional review boards, HIPAA regulations, and clinical research standards.
