The University of Southern California (USC), founded in 1880, is the largest private employer in the City of Los Angeles. The Keck School of Medicines USC Institute of Urology is looking for an Assistant Professor of Research Urology for its focal therapy and image guided surgery program. The researcher will be involved in developing more accurate methods to diagnose and treat prostate cancer. The Assistant Professor of Research Urology will also collaborate with Keck Medicine of USC radiologist and pathologists to create tailored, multidisciplinary treatment plans for each prostate cancer patient. This position will also play a large role in the invention of diagnostic support for AI for urinary cytology developed through industry-academia collaboration. The Assistant Professor of Research must have a medical doctor degree or equivalent, applicants with both an MD plus a Ph.D. degree are preferred. The applicant must have at least 4 years of experience in urologic prostate cancer and cytology research.
