24-25 Statistics & Data Science: DataX Assistant Professor University of California Los Angeles Requisition Number: JPF10014 Assistant Professor faculty position (tenure track) in the Department of Statistics and Data Science at the University of California, Los Angeles. We seek outstanding applicants contributing to the cutting edge development of fundamentals of data science, including general statistical modeling and methodology, causal discovery and inference, generative data science, interface between statistics and AI, and other areas. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. See Table(s) 1 The salary range for this position is $78,200 – $101,400 annually. ‘Off-scale salaries’ and other components of pay, i.e., a salary that is higher than the published system-wide salary at the designated rank and step, are offered when necessary to meet competitive conditions.
