Join our reputable law firm as an Accounting Clerk, where you’ll contribute to the financial operations of a dynamic and collaborative legal team. We pride ourselves on delivering excellence to our clients, and we’re looking for a detail-oriented and organized professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
Maintain and reconcile client trust accounts in compliance with regulatory standards.
Prepare invoices, monitor payments, and resolve discrepancies with vendors and clients.
Assist with general ledger entries, monthly reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and legal firm-specific regulations.
Provide support for audits, tax filings, and year-end financial processes.
Collaborate with attorneys and administrative staff on billing-related matters.
Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
Qualifications:

Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience: Previous experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and trust accounting practices.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage deadlines.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients and internal teams.
Familiarity with legal billing systems (e.g., Clio, Tabs3) is a plus.
