Job Title: Financial/Banking Procedure Writer
Location: Charlotte, NC 28202
Join our team to support a Fortune 500 banking client by creating and updating essential procedure documentation within a financial services environment. This role involves working closely with a dedicated team to manage a backlog of procedure writing assignments while supporting other key initiatives within the organization. If you have a background in financial operations and are skilled at writing detailed procedures, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic project!
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and update detailed procedures for Microsoft products, with a focus on financial operations and systems.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather necessary information and clarify financial and technical requirements.
- Refine and finalize procedure drafts for publication by the documentation team.
- Maintain high productivity, delivering 20-50 procedures per month in alignment with project timelines.
Training:
- Duration: 2 weeks to 1 month, based on individual progress.
- Ongoing mentorship and guidance provided throughout the training period.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procedure writing, with a strong preference for experience in a financial or banking environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for drafting and formatting procedures.
- Basic knowledge of Jira for task tracking and collaboration.
Soft Skills:
- Strong willingness to ask questions and seek clarification, ensuring accuracy and alignment with financial processes.
- Excellent time management and task prioritization skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
