Sr. Manager of Asset Management – EAM
The Sr. Manager of Asset Lifecycle Management is responsible for overseeing the activities of their functional teams. This position reports to the Director of Asset Lifecycle Management and is responsible for supporting the asset lifecycle management of all capital equipment installed across Niagara. The goal is to achieve desired asset lifecycle outcomes through effective management and strategic planning.
Essential Functions
Asset Lifecycle Management
- Lifecycle Management: Oversee the lifecycle of all capital equipment installed across Niagara, from installation to decommissioning. Utilize defined KPIs such as work order compliance, parts consumption on work orders, inventory movement, cost of ownership, and compliance audit scores to ensure optimal performance.
- Cost Visibility: Provide comprehensive visibility on the total cost of ownership, including repair and maintenance expenses, annual rebuild costs, and asset performance. Offer strategic recommendations to upper management regarding asset retirement.
- CMMS Implementation: Lead the implementation of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) across all Niagara facilities in the US and Mexico. This includes process setup, testing, validation, go-live, and training to ensure seamless integration and operation.
Mobile Asset management
- Ensure Readiness of Mobile Compressors and Chillers: Oversee the management of mobile compressors and chillers through work orders, ensuring they are always ready for deployment
- GPS Tracking and Live Updates: Implement and manage GPS tracking systems to provide real-time updates on the location and status of mobile assets
Asset Tag Management
- RFID Asset Tag Management: Oversee the management of all RFID asset tags across Niagara, ensuring accurate tracking and maintenance of asset information
- Collaboration for Fixed Asset Data: Collaborate with the Manufacturing (MFG) and tax teams to collect and maintain accurate Fixed Asset data, ensuring compliance and efficiency in asset management.
Asset Lifecycle Management Ai Initiatives
- Stay Current on Industry AI Initiatives: Responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest industry AI initiatives related to asset lifecycle management, ensuring that the company remains at the forefront of technological advancements
- Lead Company-Driven AI Initiatives: Lead and drive company-specific AI initiatives for Asset Lifecycle Management, leveraging AI technologies to optimize asset performance and lifecycle management
Continuous improvement
- Vendor Collaboration: Work with vendors to evaluate new technologies and upgrades for our assets, providing feedback to upper management to ensure informed decision-making
- Project Alignment: Collaborate with project management and manufacturing (MFG) teams on asset upgrade projects to ensure efficiency and cost improvements
- Asset Obsolescence Validation: Validate asset obsolescence and align with MFG teams on replacement strategies. Submit Capital Goods Request (CGR) for capital funds to support these initiatives

- Coach and Mentor: Coach and mentor team members to help develop future leaders for Niagara, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth

Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications:
- 6 Years – Experience in Engineering or Manufacturing or other related field

Education
- Minimum Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other related field or equivalent
- Preferred:
- Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business Management or other related field or equivalent experience
Typical Compensation Range
Pay Rate Type: Salary
$142,903.31 – $207,209.80 / Yearly
Bonus Target: 15% Annual
