Representative. This role involves ensuring the accurate and timely resolution of bank-returned items, providing quality customer service, and mitigating risk while supporting clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately resolve all bank-returned items within established guidelines.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Educate clients, branches, and product areas on the resolution process, offering alternate service options as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a basic knowledge of insurance products, including Taxpay, Direct Deposit, Readychex, Garnishments, 401(k), Workers’ Compensation, Health and Benefits, and FSA.
  • Research and resolve product and service issues from clients and field teams.
  • Handle client objections and manage resolutions to recover lost revenue effectively.
  • Process daily returns and ensure updates are accurate and timely to avoid penalties and service-related issues.
  • Maintain departmental policies, procedures, and compliance with regulations such as the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA) and NACHA.
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

o High School Diploma (Required)
o Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)

  • Experience:

o Collections experience required.
o Background in customer service, finance, accounting, or payroll.
o Call center experience preferred.

  • Skills:

o Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
o Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
