Must have 2-3 years of experience in resume.

We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to assist in the full functionality of A/P functions. The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for maintaining accounts payable records for various assets and assist with a variety of accounting and additional support within the department. This position works closely with Accounting Management and reports directly to the Controller.

Duties:

  • Perform reconciliations of identified AP/Vendor accounts and track monthly invoices.
  • Responsible for GL account coding and invoice approval distribution.
  • Management of Accounts Payable email inbox.
  • Vendor maintenance, including W-9 and preparation of year-end 1099’s and Vendor ACH setup.
  • Preparation of bank deposits and various general clerical duties for the office.
  • Review invoices of assigned vendors for appropriate documentation and approval
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Assist in weekly check runs
  • Respond to all vendor inquiries
  • File invoices daily
  • Assist management with cash flow planning
