Division: Nucor Warehouse Systems

Location: Vernon, CA, United States  

Other Available Locations: N/A

Compensation Range: $104,000 – $121,000 (based on experience)

Basic Job Functions:

  • Assisting with journal entries
  • Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
  • Assisting team with audit preparations.
  • Contributing to the development of accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
  • Performing other accounting duties as required or assigned.
  • Organize and update financial records.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations; month-end closing.
  • Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and general ledger maintenance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounting Department.
  • Teammate collaboration and initiatives

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • ERP experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated work initiative, sound judgment, diplomacy, analytical ability, and professional demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in accounting for a manufacturing company.
  • MBA, or related higher education, a plus.
