Looking for Accounting Clerk

Pay $25 – $30

Must have 3 to 5 years of Accounting Experience (AP/AR)

Must be 15 to 20 miles from work site

Job Description:
As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for supporting the accounting department by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with bookkeeping tasks, and ensuring all transactions are properly documented. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work with financial software will be key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are paid on time and properly documented.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
Prepare and post journal entries as needed for general ledger accounts.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
Monitor and track expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and budgets.
Perform data entry and maintain organized financial filing systems.
Assist with payroll processing and other payroll-related tasks.
Support the senior accounting team with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information for reports and audits.
