ActOne Group, a trusted leader in staffing and recruitment, is partnering with a leading pharmaceutical company to find a detail-oriented and skilled Technical Writer. This role is critical in ensuring the development, maintenance, and organization of high-quality documentation that adheres to pharmaceutical industry standards and global compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and edit standard operating procedures (SOPs), user tools, training materials, glossary content, and global standards, tailored to pharmaceutical processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document action plans ensuring SOP compliance, including writing and editing documentation.
- Manage the routing of documentation through review and approval processes using the document management system.
- Analyze and update existing documentation in collaboration with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy, relevancy, and compliance with pharmaceutical regulations.
- Adhere to quality standards, including SOPs, and recommend improvements to system documentation.
- Organize and maintain existing and new documentation for easy access and usability.
- Provide coaching and training on technical writing concepts and instruction to other document controllers (if technical writing expertise is present).
- Suggest and implement appropriate formatting for documentation to enhance clarity and consistency.
- Serve as the go-to person for documentation advice and support.
- Regularly report the status of documentation deliverables to the supervisor and team.
- Assist in periodic reviews, gap assessments, and other documentation review strategies in alignment with pharmaceutical industry requirements.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate/Bachelor’s Degree – Required
- Technical Certification or Equivalent Work Experience – Required
- Strong written communication skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Proven experience in developing and editing documentation such as SOPs, training materials, and technical content, preferably in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment.
- Familiarity with document management systems and review/approval workflows.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage and maintain documentation efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in technical writing with the ability to coach and train others.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry standards, quality assurance processes, and compliance requirements.
