The Department of Neurobiology at UCLA seeks candidates to focus on understanding the molecular pathways important for human brain evolution that are also at risk in cognitive disorders such as autism, schizophrenia, and Alzheimer disease. Applicants must possess an earned doctorate in neurobiology or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years post-doctoral research training in a relevant field of study. Successful candidates will exhibit outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills, leadership potential, and high ethical responsibility. A track record of publications in internationally recognized journals and dedication to collaborative, multidisciplinary research is required. Position will require teaching in core neuroscience courses.
