Downey, CA: An operations manager oversees and optimizes a company’s day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and quality, while also managing resources, teams, and processes to achieve organizational goals
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Strategic Planning & Process Improvement:
Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, identify areas for improvement, and streamline processes
Resource Management:
Oversee and allocate resources effectively, including human resources, budgets, and materials.
Team Leadership & Management:
Lead, motivate, and supervise teams, ensuring effective communication, training, and performance management.
Quality Control & Compliance:
Implement and maintain quality control measures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Supply Chain Management:
Manage the flow of goods and services, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data, and prepare reports to identify areas for improvement and measure progress.
Problem Solving & Decision Making:
Identify and resolve operational issues, making sound decisions based on data and analysis.
Budget Management:
Manage and monitor budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of funds.
Will be overseeing 4 Departments
HR / Accounting / Warehouse / Field Staff
Will require many hats to be worn
Experience with Accounting, Payroll, QuickBooks Desktop, scheduling and freight
