Need an HR Benefit Support Associate.
Minimum Estimated Assignment Length: 4-6 Months (Supporting a vacancy)
Pay: $26-$28 /HR (Depending on Experience)
Work Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking HR Benefits Support. The temp oversees all aspects of benefits enrollment and benefits information dissemination. They will troubleshoot benefit problems or complaints, proactively investigate problems or errors, and documents circumstances to see through to appropriate resolution. This person will maintain benefits information in the HRIS.
DUTIES
- Prepare Oversee the benefit enrollment process in ADP, including following up with employees, collecting paperwork, and processing enrollment forms to meet deadlines.
- Process and maintain personnel status and data changes in the carrier’s database
- Lead benefits section of New Hire Orientation
- Reconcile monthly all benefit programs billing to meet monthly deadline.
- Disseminate benefits information and answer benefits questions completely and accurately.
- Trouble shoot benefit problems or complaints; proactively investigate problems or errors, document circumstances and see through to appropriate resolution.
- Coordinate annual Open Enrollment meetings for all staff.
- Reconcile benefit enrollment changes and qualifying events for Open Enrollment
- Track COBRA coverage, send all necessary paperwork, including COBRA Notification letters and Qualifying Event forms.
- Input and maintain benefits information in the HRIS and generate reports and queries.
- Develop, track and maintain the Agency’s wellness programs and initiatives
- Serves as a back-up support to the Leave of Absence Specialist position, supporting Leave of Absences, Workers’ Compensation, Safety & Ergonomics
- Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2 years’ experience processing benefits paperwork, in a human resources environment.
EDUCATION
- Two years of college, bachelor’s degree preferred. Relevant work experience may be substituted for college level education.
