Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis. The ideal candidate will assist in a variety of accounting functions, including verifying and reconciling payables/receivables, processing machine billing, and supporting month-end closing procedures.
This role provides an excellent opportunity for career growth, with the potential to transition into a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile payable and receivable transactions.
- Process machine billing and receipt of goods entry/payable.
- Assist with collections by resolving customer billing issues and reducing accounts receivable balances.
- Perform end-of-month reporting and assist in preparing month-end close procedures.
- Support Sales Order processing as needed.
- Maintain and update the general ledger.
- Oversee general accounting operations, ensuring proper verification and control of financial transactions.
- Assist the Accounting Manager with additional tasks as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Preferred Experience: 3-5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Prioritize and plan work activities efficiently, setting goals and planning for additional resources.
- Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gathering and analyzing information to develop effective solutions.
- Effectively resolve customer billing issues, reducing accounts receivable balances.
- Speak clearly and persuasively, actively listening and providing informative responses when necessary.
- Write clearly and concisely, ensuring accuracy and clarity in presenting numerical data and other written information.
