Immediate need for labor relations specialist.

Overview:
This role combines labor relations expertise with project performance support. You’ll help shape labor strategies, manage union relationships, and support project development efforts within the Transmission & Substation Project Development (TSPD) team at Southern California Edison (SCE).

Key Responsibilities:
Labor Relations:
Support and sometimes lead labor strategy development and implementation.
Monitor labor trends in California and Washington, D.C.
Identify and address labor relations issues.
Recommend solutions for union contract matters.
Manage labor-related projects and research other companies’ union agreements.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve union-related issues.
Project Performance Support:
Help manage and track TSPD projects, including scheduling and transitioning sponsorships.
Research and follow up on outstanding projects to determine next steps (continue, reassign, or cancel).
Develop schedules and track project progress using metrics and dashboards.
Support intake and tracking of new projects and ensure timely completion of key deliverables.
Additional Duties:
Analyze company performance data (financial, operational, customer).
Create and maintain dashboards and reports.
Align performance metrics with business goals.
Recommend improvements based on performance analysis.
Support business units in setting and tracking performance goals.
Work with external vendors to apply best practices.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Juris Doctor (JD) preferred.
Experience:
5–7 years in labor and employee relations.
Experience as a chief negotiator in collective bargaining.
7+ years in performance data analysis or business operations preferred.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Copperleaf C55.
Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
