The Opportunity:
We’re seeking a high-performing sales hunter to spearhead business development in the biotech and pharmaceutical cold chain space. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments and is passionate about solving complex logistics challenges for clients in the life sciences sector.
What You’ll Do:
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities in the biopharma and perishable goods markets
- Sell both asset-based and brokerage transportation services with a focus on cold chain and time-sensitive logistics
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the biotech and reefer market
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless onboarding and execution
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of sales experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or perishable transportation
- Deep understanding of cold chain logistics, GxP compliance, and time-critical shipping
- Proven ability to sell across multiple transportation modes (LTL, FTL, air, expedited)
- Strong network within the biopharma ecosystem (preferred)
- Self-starter with a hunter mentality and a track record of exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel as needed
