We are looking for you to join our team as an *IPT Lead* based out of *Woodland Hills, CA*.  As an *IPT Lead* at Northrop Grumman you will have a challenging and rewarding opportunity to be a part of our Enterprise-wide digital transformation. *What You’ll Get to Do:*

*Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking an IPT Lead to join our diverse and talented team in the development and implementation of advanced software defined radios for military applications. This role will be filled on-site at our Woodland Hills, CA site. *

* Responsible for tracking and reporting cost and schedule performance of multidisciplinary scrum teams. 

* Own the overall technical quality and performance for the engineering content of the assigned scope of work.

* Own the overall technical quality and performance for the engineering content of the assigned scope of work.

* Project planning utilizing a resource loaded IMS and aligning to overall program milestones. 

* Meet cost account budget, schedule, and technical performance for scope of work as assigned.

* Manage scope and ensure alignment with contract and statement of work requirements.

* Form tiger teams to address issues with disciplined root cause and corrective actions. 

* Providing guidance to employees in various engineering functional roles focused on executing a defined engineering product development effort.

* Set and operate to objectives including cost, schedule, and technical performance of products.

* Work collaboratively with engineering, operations, program management, mission assurance, and supply chain to resolve complex issues in a timely and efficient manner to meet program commitments.

*Basic Qualifications:*

* Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline and 8 years of relevant work experience *OR* Master of Science in a STEM discipline and 6 years of relevant work experience *OR* 4 years with a PhD

* US Citizenship

* Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret security clearance

* Minimum 2 years’ experience in Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles and application, or similar knowledge, or as a Cost Account Manager (CAM) 

* Experience in all aspects of the engineering process, from requirements analysis through verification testing.  

* Experience with Quantifiable Backup Data (QBD) and Agile development processes. 

* Experience with Jira, Confluence, Doors, Cameo and other project management toolsets. 

* Experience with Product Lifecycle Management, Configuration Management, and Model Based Engineering environments.  

* Experience in presenting to various levels of leadership. 

* Prior team leadership in DoD programs. 

* Proficiency in technical problem solving, including decomposition, root cause analysis, solution development, implementation, and monitoring.   

* Proven, effective planning, organizational, and communication skills. 

* Ability to work onsite 4 days a week in Woodland Hills, CA. 

*Preferred Qualifications*:  

* Master’s degree in a relevant technical or management specialty.  

* Familiarity with Navigation Systems. 

* Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. 

* Knowledge of/experience in transforming legacy processes to more efficient, streamlined, digital capabilities. 

* Active DoD Secret Clearance. 

* Demonstrated ability in prioritizing multiple tasks 

* Demonstrated ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization and with outside organizations 

This position is contingent upon the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance within a timeframe acceptable to management.

Salary Range: $137,400.00 – $206,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
