Description
AppleOne is proud to present:
Are you a hands-on construction professional who thrives in the field but isn’t afraid to roll up your sleeves on the project management side?
We’re seeking a seasoned Superintendent who brings strong leadership, accountability, and a passion for delivering high-quality tenant improvement projects. When larger field-based projects are complete, this role also steps in as a Project Manager on refresh, remodel, tenant improvements and equipment installation projects—ideal for someone who enjoys variety and challenge.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing operation with a diverse project pipeline. If you’re comfortable wearing multiple hats, driving excellence on-site, and managing key project deliverables from start to finish, this might be the perfect fit for you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Superintendent Duties (Primary Focus):
Lead all on-site construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
Coordinate subcontractors, field crews, and vendors to keep workflows efficient and productive.
Act as a clear and professional point of contact for clients, architects, and stakeholders.
Manage and update 3-week look-ahead schedules in collaboration with trade partners.
Interpret and enforce construction documents, specs, and contractual requirements.
Ensure timely completion of RFIs and submittals.
Maintain a clean, safe, and secure job site.
Document daily logs, progress photos, and site reports.
Coordinate inspections, testing, and quality assurance efforts.
Lead weekly subcontractor and project team meetings.
Project Management Duties (As Assigned):
Manage smaller-scale projects including site refreshes and equipment installations.
Serve as the main liaison for clients and stakeholders.
Create and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and drive toward deadlines.
Oversee budgets, financial tracking, and cost controls.
Generate progress reports, manage change orders, and coordinate punch lists.
Handle additional responsibilities as needed in a flexible, fast-paced environment.
What We’re Looking For:
5–10 years of experience in a Superintendent role, preferably in commercial or retail construction.
2+ years in a Project Management capacity strongly preferred.
Proven ability to run fast-paced construction projects independently.
Excellent communicator with strong client-facing skills.
Adaptable and comfortable in an environment where team members wear many hats.
Strong ability to interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
Highly organized with excellent time management and multitasking skills.
Working knowledge of OSHA standards and on-site safety best practices.
Proficiency in tools like Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
