We are seeking a professional and personable Receptionist. You will be the face of the company, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all guests and callers. This role involves managing the front desk, answering phones, responding to emails, scheduling conference rooms, and placing catering orders for meetings.
?? Location: 303 Colorado St Suite 3000, Austin, TX 78701
?? Pay Rate: $21/hr
?? Dress Code: Business Casual
??? Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist all visitors with professionalism and warmth
  • Answer and transfer incoming calls from across the United States
  • Respond to emails promptly and efficiently
  • Schedule meeting rooms and place catering orders as needed
  • Issue facility access cards and name badges to employees and visitors
  • Assist applicants with applications and distribute loaner cell phones
  • Perform light administrative tasks, including PC support and compiling manuals
  • Maintain company phone and speed dial lists up to date
  • Participate in company and community service events enthusiastically
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with customers and teams
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required
  • Minimum 2+ years of prior reception or switchboard experience
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word and Excel preferred)
  • Ability to handle minimal physical effort (mostly sedentary with occasional walking, standing, bending, or carrying items under 10 lbs)
