Job Title: Mechanical Assembly Technician
Location: Matthews, NC
Pay: $18–$22/hour (depending on experience)

We’re looking for a Mechanical Assembly Technician who is a self-starter, dependable, and takes pride in getting the job done right. If you thrive working independently and enjoy hands-on mechanical work, we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
- Assemble mechanical components and systems using engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
- Conduct quality checks to ensure all work meets specifications and industry standards
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues during the assembly process
- Use hand and power tools safely and accurately, including torque wrenches, calipers, and micrometers
- Document work performed, parts used, and any deviations from plans
- Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and sales teams to ensure smooth workflows
- Assist in equipment maintenance and tool calibration
- Follow all safety procedures and help maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Support testing and inspection of finished assemblies to ensure functionality
- Contribute ideas for process improvements and operational efficiency
What We’re Looking For:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Comfortable with hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments
- Basic understanding of quality control and mechanical troubleshooting
- Knowledge of 24VDC systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift and move components up to 60 lbs
- Able to stand, bend, kneel, and work on step ladders for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
