AppleOne is currently partnering with a fast growing construction company. We are looking for a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical execution and coordination of custom stone projects from award to installation. You’ll work closely with project managers, drafters, fabricators, and installers to ensure every detail is accounted for—supporting both the design and field teams with shop drawings, material selections, anchoring systems, and problem-solving on complex, one-of-a-kind stone applications. This is an ideal role for an engineer who is passionate about craftsmanship, architectural detail, and precision in the built environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation to understand scope and technical requirements

· Develop or oversee development of shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation details

· Collaborate with architects, designers, and contractors to resolve technical challenges and ensure design intent is preserved

· Evaluate and specify appropriate anchoring systems and installation methods for various substrates and site conditions

· Assist in material optimization and fabrication planning to ensure efficient use of stone

· Coordinate closely with internal departments (estimating, production, project management) and external vendors

· Conduct site visits and field measurements as needed to verify conditions and support accurate detailing

· Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and project-specific structural or performance requirements

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline

· Experience interpreting architectural and structural drawings

· Strong understanding of building materials and construction methods, particularly with natural stone, façade systems, or exterior cladding

· Proficient in AutoCAD (required); experience with Revit, Rhino, SolidWorks, or other 3D modeling tools is a plus

· Knowledge of anchoring systems, stone properties, and fabrication methods preferred

· Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience:

· 2–5 years of engineering experience in construction, architecture, or building materials

· Background in stone, curtain wall, precast, tile, or façade engineering highly desirable

· Familiarity with CNC fabrication processes and digital fabrication workflows a plus
