position, you will provide exceptional nursing care for our patients. You will
assess patient, family and staff learning needs, deliver appropriate clinical
education, patient intervention and promote effective working relationships.
The Clinical Nurse in Cardiovascular Services provides
specialized care to patients undergoing advanced cardiac procedures in both
inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include performing contrast
and bubble studies, stress testing, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), cardioversions,
and administering moderate sedation. This nurse conducts thorough,
age-appropriate assessments and delivers clear, compassionate education to
patients and families. The role requires strong clinical judgment,
collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and a commitment to safety,
quality, and continuous professional development. Able to cover all areas of
Cardiology, including the clinics and future Cardiology areas.

Salary range: $91.84 Hourly
Qualifications

- BSN
or MSN – required - Current
valid California RN license – required - At
least 3 years of recent Acute Care on a Cardiology unit – required - BLS
and ACLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association –
required - CCRN or CV-BC Certification – preferred
- Extensive
cardiac experience with the ability to independently interpret ECG rhythms
– strongly preferred - Proficient
in moderate sedation – strongly preferred - Ability
to develop and implement and evaluate patient care plan actively involving
patients, family, and staff - Ability
to wear lead and stand for long periods of time - Official
Transcripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program must
be provided upon hire
