Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Inventory Analyst is responsible for the organization, proper rotation, and accuracy of the inventory. This is a hands-on role for inventory control and will work closely with the Quality Control department to minimize shrink.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily cycle counts with perpetual inventory
- Daily checks on dated inventory and rotation
- Research inventory discrepancies and adjusts variances
- Process inventory transfers and other adjustments requested by Merchandising department
- Research short sheet discrepancies
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
High School Diploma or G.E.D
Experience
Six months of inventory and/or production experience
Skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Basic mathematical operations (counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
- Ability to communicate clearly (verbally and in writing)
- Detail-oriented
