We are seeking a reliable and customer-service-oriented Mailroom Specialist to support mail and package services across two buildings at our client site. You’ll play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate mail sorting, delivery, and scanning. The role involves extensive standing, walking, and some lifting (up to 50 lbs.).

Location: 4500 Main Street, Kansas City, MO 64111
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18–$19/hour
Dress Code: Business Casual (Tennis shoes allowed)
Start Date: ASAP
Parking: Free parking provided

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate high-volume mail management and imaging equipment
  • Sort, open, scan, and deliver mail and packages across multiple floors
  • Maintain accurate records and meter logs
  • Clear copier paper jams and report service issues
  • Perform basic copier maintenance and supply restocking
  • Assist with building support (meeting setups, light maintenance, etc.)
  • Use equipment such as shrink-wrap machine, postage meter, staplers, and bindery tools
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries

  • Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1–2 years of experience in a related field (mailroom or office services preferred)
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills
  • Basic PC proficiency and comfort using office equipment
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift
