Description
In this role you will be responsible for the supervision, monitoring and evaluation of the Transplant and Cellular Therapy Office staff.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coordination of interdisciplinary care for transplant recipients and donors, throughout the care continuum.
- Hiring, orientation, counseling and development of staff
- Development and revision of office policies and procedures
- Coordination and completion of reports for payors and accrediting agencies.
Salary Range: $140,200.00-$331,800.00/annuallyQualifications
Required:
- Valid, CA RN License
- BSN or MSN required
- BLS Card from AHA or ARC
- Oncology Certified (OCN, BMTCN, APHON, or AOCNP)
- Ability to communicate with patients, referring physicians, transplant team members, insurance companies, governmental agencies, hospital staff, and other groups in a professional, diplomatic manner over the telephone and in person
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Previous experience in working with health care professionals in a health care setting
Preferred:
- Minimum of 5 years of transplant /cellular therapy experience
- MSN preferred
- Previous management experience
- Previous experience as a transplant coordinator
- Working knowledge of resources within outpatient and an acute care medical center with commensurate ability to refer individuals to appropriate departments
