As the Senior MRI Technologist, you will perform basic and complex MR imaging
procedures as well as post-processing responsibilities. This will require an
in-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology,
pharmacology and medical terminology. Advanced imaging skills and techniques
would be demonstrated by competence in 3 or more of the following advanced
imaging applications:
- MR Angiography (MRA) – cardiac and advanced cardiac/CVMR,
peripheral vascular/PVMR, and or neurovascular – EPI applications: DWI,
PWI, DTI , ASL - MR Spectroscopy (MRS) – Brain, or Breast, or Prostate
- MR Enterography, MR Defecography and MR
Prostate with endo-rectal coil - Interventional MR – MR Guided fine needle breast and or
prostate biopsies - Functional MR (fMRI) – Brain
- Therapeutic MR (HiFu) – Fibroid tumors
You will be expected to support all imaging
centers staffed by our organization.

required for a senior position, you may be considered for a Staff MRI
Technologist position*

Staff
Technologist: $52.22 – $ 68.84 Hourly
Senior
Technologist: $54.79 – $72.30 Hourly
Salary Range: $52.22 – $72.30 Hourly
Qualifications

your resume includes a list of all relevant certifications and licenses*
- 3 years MRI Experience – required
- Licenses
- A combination of the ARRT and
CRT – required. MR certificate required
OR
- A
combination of the ARRT and ARMRIT (MR) – required - Venipuncture certificate –
required - BCLS from American Heart
Association or American Red Cross – required - Graduate from a AMA Radiologic
Technologist Program – required - AA
or BS – preferred - Siemens experience – preferred
- Demonstrates
competence in modifying protocols as required producing optimal diagnostic
images. - Demonstrates
ability to train additional MR staff in addition to performing the
advanced procedures without direction themselves - You will be required to rotate to all radiology sites staffed
by UCLA Health
