Overview:
We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Supply Chain to lead and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role oversees a team of 7–9 professionals across NPI, tooling, and manufacturing engineering, with a focus on cross-functional alignment, process efficiency, and operational excellence. We’re looking for someone with a strong leadership presence, a fun and approachable personality, and a knack for problem-solving in complex manufacturing ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team; establish clear expectations and a collaborative culture

Strategic Alignment: Ensure supply chain and engineering initiatives support overall business goals and customer satisfaction

Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement across sourcing, planning, production, and engineering processes

Project Oversight: Oversee supply chain and engineering projects including NPI initiatives, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality goals are met

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, operations, quality, and finance teams to align supply chain efforts and communicate technical requirements clearly

ERP & Systems Management: Leverage ERP systems to streamline procurement, production planning, and inventory control

Operational Excellence: Establish and track KPIs, lead root-cause analysis, and implement data-driven solutions to drive performance

Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution across the supply chain

Technical Support: Guide design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and provide input on cable & harness assembly processes to ensure manufacturability and cost efficiency

Required Experience:

7+ years of supply chain or operations leadership in a manufacturing environment

Experience managing engineering-related functions including NPI, tooling, and process improvement

Strong background in cable and harness assemblies, including molding, shielding, and termination

Proven experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change

Preferred Systems & Tools:

ERP: SAP, Oracle, NetSuite

PLM systems

MS Office Suite

Supply chain planning tools

Preferred Certifications:

APICS CPIM or CSCP

PMP (Project Management Professional)

Six Sigma Certification

Lean Manufacturing
