Position Summary The Assignment Representative provides a broad range of administrative, customer service, and operational functions in support of the Housing Assignment Office that manages the housing assignment process for University-owned housing. This includes over 19,000 single undergraduate students, over 3,000 graduate students, and over 1,000 family and mixed-use apartments. The incumbent serves as a representative in the Housing ractions. Responsibilities include advising students and parents on housing options, applications, and contractual obligations; managing housing inventory and annual room configurations; reconciling occupancy reports to ensure accuracy and maximize facility use; and counseling students on contract changes, transfers, cancellations, and move-out processes. The role also maintains student records, coordinates with campus departments on housing assignments, and supports the Housing Services team through collaboration and cross-training. Salary & Compensation *UCLA provides a full pay range.
