Position Summary
In support of Undergraduate Admission (UA) efforts to meet UCLA’s annual new student recruitment and enrollment goals, this position works under the supervision of the Admission Services Unit Manager. The role has direct supervisory responsibility for the unit’s 10-15 student employees, ensuring optimal customer service delivery across multiple communication channels (in-person, phone, email, web/live chat). The position designs, implements, and evaluates student staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and scheduling processes. It ensures operational excellence by monitoring service performance, managing payroll compliance, and using CRM and data systems for workload analysis and planning. In addition to supervising daily operations, the position provides admissions counseling to prospective students and the public, participates in on-campus recruitment and yield events, and exercises professional judgment in the evaluation of undergraduate applications. The incumbent represents UCLA and the University of California to internal and external audiences, contributing to recruitment and yield goals and ensuring alignment with institutional priorities.
Salary & Compensation
