RECAP OF THE POSITION:
Location: Rio Hondo Probation
8240 Broadway Ave, Whittier, CA 90606
Pay: $19.44hr. This is what LA County confirmed in their contract, so it is non-negotiable.
Type: Indefinite contract/temp work. You can be on this assignment for many years if you choose. Candidates are welcome to apply for permanent LA County roles after being a contractor for 6 months. It’s a great way to get your foot in the door.
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm w/1hr unpaid lunch
Duties: ?Candidate will sit at the front desk, greet incoming guests, answer phones on a multiline system, process paperwork, handle filing, scanning, and doing data entry. All candidates must be able to type at least 40 WPM.
There is no additional interview required for these roles. As long as you pass the LiveScan, you can start as soon as it clears. Along the way, please let me know if you have any questions.
