We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations in both office and warehouse, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This role requires strong leadership skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to motivate and guide team members towards achieving operational goals.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of the West Chicago office and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Lead, train, and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Monitor production processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Manage inventory, order fulfillment, and vendor coordination.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to maintain safety standards.
- Analyze operational data and prepare reports for management review.
- Address any operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an operations supervisory role or similar position (manufacturing or wholesale preferred).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using MS Office, and operational management software and tools.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Industry experience in packaging or related manufacturing sectors is preferred.
