Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Product Manager to join a hybrid (Denver, DC, LA, SF, Seattle) aerospace innovation program. The Product Manager will lead the strategy and execution of satellite mission software, driving user-centric, technically robust features that streamline flight dynamics & event management for aerospace customers.

  

Responsibilities of the Product Manager include:

  • Own Product Strategy & Roadmap: Lead the vision, roadmap, and delivery of the Flight Dynamics and Event Management product line
  • End-to-End Product Ownership: Drive product development from ideation through launch, collaborating closely with engineering, design, and customer success
  • Deep Customer Empathy: Engage directly with users to understand their missions, workflows, and pain points. Build responsive solutions based on real-world use cases—not prescriptive assumptions
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with engineering, design, and forward-deployed teams to deliver high-impact features. Communicate clearly across stakeholders including marketing and executive leadership
  • Technical Fluency: Speak the language of developers and engineers. Understand embedded systems, APIs, and real-time operating environments—even if you don’t code day-to-day
  • Performance Monitoring & Iteration: Track product metrics, validate customer outcomes, and iterate based on data and feedback

 

Qualifications of the Product Manager include:

  • 8-10+ years of experience, 3+ years in product management (B2B SaaS); 5+ years in technical roles (engineering, development, data analysis)
  • Background in aerospace, space systems, or flight dynamics strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Python, Rust, C++, embedded systems, and real-time operating systems
  • Experience with drones, autonomous vehicles, or similar mission-critical platforms
  • Comfortable discussing APIs, telemetry, and spacecraft maneuvering logic
  • Strong communication and stakeholder alignment
  • Empathetic, curious, and responsive to customer needs
  • Able to synthesize complex technical feedback into actionable product decisions
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or equivalent practical experience
  • Must be a U.S. citizen

 

Compensation for the Product Manager includes:

  • Salary Range: $140,000-$175,000 + bonus **depending on experience**
