As an Underground Miner, you’ll train under experienced miners to learn the fundamentals of underground operations, safety, and equipment handling. You will assist in material transport, tunnel maintenance, and site preparation while gaining valuable technical skills in one of the most stable and well-paying industries.

Key Responsibilities

Operations and Maintenance:

· Assist in setting up and maintaining underground equipment.

· Load, transport, and organize materials.

· Support rock dusting, scaling, and roof bolting operations.

Safety and Compliance:

· Follow all MSHA and company safety regulations.

· Conduct safety checks on equipment before and after use.

· Participate in daily briefings and use full PPE at all times.

Documentation and Reporting:

· Record activities and safety observations daily.

· Report hazards or maintenance needs promptly.

Work Environment and Expectations

This is a physically demanding, underground position involving confined spaces and exposure to heat, dust, and noise. Punctuality, endurance, and strong teamwork are vital.

Requirements

· Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the U.S.

· Ability to lift 80 lbs and work in enclosed spaces.

· Must pass a physical exam, drug test, and background check.

· Willing to work rotating shifts.

Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid training, safety bonuses. Schedule: Rotating shifts (days/nights, 10–12 hours).
