We are hiring an Accounts Payable Associate.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Process accounts payable: match invoices to POs, code, review, and enter into system.
* Regularly check vendor statements for unpaid invoices.
* Monitor purchase orders for outstanding invoices.
* Maintain and update vendor account details.
* Sort and distribute incoming mail.
* Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve invoice discrepancies.
* Support month-end closing activities.
* Keep accurate and organized files and documentation.
* Assist with additional projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable.
* High school diploma required.
* Proficient in Excel, Word, and 10-key by touch.
* Strong skills in problem-solving, basic accounting, documentation and research, data analysis, and multitasking.
* Able to work independently and in a team, in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
* Quick and accurate with math (percentages, fractions, basic operations).
HUGE PLUS:
* College courses in accounting
* Experience with Sage ERP
* Experience in purchasing/procurement
* Bilingual in Spanish or Mandarin
