We’re seeking an experienced Financial Controller (CPA) with a strong background in property management or HOA accounting to lead our Accounting Department. This high-impact role shapes company-wide financial strategy, supports client trust, and drives operational excellence.
Financial Controller / CPA (Property Management or HOA)
Location: Onsite – Canoga Park, CA
Compensation: $115,000 – $150,000 (DOE)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the accounting team; ensure deadlines and performance goals are met.
- Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and departmental process improvements.
- Review all year-end budgets and ensure monthly reports
- Serve as the primary contact for complex financial matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
- 5+ years of leadership experience as a Controller or Accounting Manager.
- Direct experience in HOA or property management accounting required.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
