The Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the USC School of Advanced Computing within the USC Viterbi School of Engineering seeks outstanding candidates for Research Assistant Professor. These are full-time, non-tenure track research faculty positions. The appointments require a demonstrated capacity for collaborative, interdisciplinary research. Applicants should have an earned doctorate in electrical engineering or a related discipline, and an established track record of funding and publication appropriate for appointment. Research faculty are not eligible for tenure and have no obligation to teach in the department. Appointments may be considered for up to three years, subject to renewal upon satisfactory performance and available funding. The core salary range for the positions is $90,000 – $120,000 per year. These are 12-month full-time positions.
