Position: Construction Foreman – Masonry
Location: Matthews, NC
Salary: $55,000-$75,000/yr.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all job site activities, ensuring safety, organization, and quality workmanship.
  • Coordinate with GCs and subs to address site concerns, maintain strong relationships, and avoid back charges.
  • Manage crew productivity and job site efficiency through effective planning and leadership.
  • Ensure accurate material deliveries by verifying items against delivery tickets.
  • Monitor daily/weekly site activity and submit reports, delivery tickets, and required documentation.
  • Communicate project risks, scheduling delays to upper management promptly.
  • Identify and document any out-of-scope work to ensure proper billing.
  • Maintain adequate materials, supplies, staffing to meet production timelines.
  • Ensure all work is completed according to plans, specifications, and schedule.
  • Proactively address and resolve any quality or safety issues on site.

Experience & Skills:

  • Experience in supervising crews and managing job site operations.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient job site.
  • Understanding of OSHA regulations and adherence to safe work practices.
  • Ability to safely operate a variety of construction equipment and tools, including:

-Lulls, Forklifts
-Scaffolding systems (motorized and traditional)
-Chain falls, grout pumps, mixers
-Masonry saws and hand tools
